Please note that the zoo does not have its own parking, and parking around the park is limited and paid, even on Sundays. During good weather, parking can be particularly difficult. However, to assist drivers, the Parc zoologique de Paris has partnered with nearby car parks that offer preferential rates. After parking, you can easily reach the zoo using the metro, bus, or tram.

The visit & the animals
-
It is not possible to feed the animals. Our residents are wild animals that follow a species-specific diet established by our veterinarians. Similarly, it is not permitted to touch them.
In some cases, such as with seals, they can only be touched by the keepers during medical training (to acclimatise the animals to handling for procedures like ultrasounds and X-rays without the need for sedation).
-
In winter, when temperatures drop below 5°C, some of our animals—particularly those from the Africa, Amazonia-Guiana, and Madagascar biozones—must stay indoors as they cannot tolerate the cold. Some will remain visible in their indoor enclosures.
On certain mornings, due to weather conditions, condensation may form on some viewing panes. This generally clears up by late morning or early afternoon, so we encourage you to return later if you encounter this phenomenon.
For more information, please refer to the winter plan

The Parc zoologique de Paris has been designed to ensure maximum well-being for its residents, who have access to areas where they can temporarily shelter. If the animals are not visible during your visit, feel free to return a little later. Like in nature, our animals are often more active in the early morning or late afternoon, especially during hot weather. In any case, take your time in front of the enclosures to spot the animals. Remember to look in the trees, under the bushes, and in the shelters. For certain species, the most frequently used resting places are indicated for you.
Every day, public feeding sessions take place. During these activities, you can observe the animals being active, along with commentary in french from the park's educational team and keepers. Check the scheduled feedings in our programm.
-
The Parc zoologique de Paris aims to contribute to the protection of animal species. To ensure the well-being of our residents, we have designed the enclosures so that the animals are in an environment suited to their daily needs.
Thus, for species that require it, certain parts of the enclosures may be out of sight from visitors, allowing the individuals to have quiet resting areas. The species indicated on the map are indeed present in the park, so by returning at different times of the day, you should be able to observe them.
Unless stated otherwise, all animals are present.
