Guided tours for schools

The Paris Zoological Park provides interactive guided tours of the park for school groups based on different themes. Choose from among the following tours depending on the theme and the level of your class.

4 STAR ZOO
Key Stage 1
How do you prepare for the arrival of a capuchin monkey at the zoo? Pupils observe different enclosures and their occupants in order to decide what the best living conditions are for this primate.
Duration: 2 hours

CRIME SCENE AT THE ZOO
Key Stage 2
An animal has helped itself to the park’s food supplies! The pupils lead the investigation to find out information about the suspected species and catch the culprit.
Duration: 2 hours

ON THE TRAIL OF BIODIVERSITY
Years 7 - 8
As they go through the biozones, pupils consider the notions of ecosystems and adaptation and gather evidence to gain a better understanding of the importance of biodiversity.
Duration: 2 hours

QUESTIONS FOR A ZOO CHAMPION!
Years 8 - 9
How can you recognise a jaguar? What shape is an ibis’ beak? A genuine world tour in questions to learn about our planet’s biodiversity.
Duration: 2 hours

LET’S WALK IN THE FORESTS
Secondary
What is a forest? Pupils move beyond a simple definition and learn about the wide variety of forests on the planet, their importance and their ecological role.
Duration: 2 hours

GO WITH THE FLOW
Secondary
Water is essential to all living things. From African deserts to temperate or tropical wetlands, pupils learn about water’s role in different habitats and for their occupants.
Duration: 2 hours
