For tiny tots (aged 5 and under)
ANIMO-MIMES
Pre-school
After a session where children are introduced to mime, they closely observe several species and then mime how they move around while the rest of the class guess which animal they have chosen.

HAIR OR SCALES?
Pre-school
After learning about the differences between feathers, hair and scales, the children set off to observe the animal they have been allocated and work out which it has.

For 6-12 year-olds
PARK PUZZLES
4 teams compete with each other to discover the identity of their opponents, through puzzles and special missions. Who will manage to unlock the secrets of Madagascar? Who will find the mystery bird in the aviary? It’s up to the children to be the most observant and the quickest to get the clues and unmask the opposing teams.
Duration: 1 ½ hours
CRIME SCENE AT THE ZOO
Key Stage 2
An animal has helped itself to the park’s food supplies! The pupils lead the investigation to find out information about the suspected species and catch the culprit.
Duration: 2 hours
4 STAR ZOO
Key Stage 1
How do you prepare for the arrival of a capuchin monkey at the zoo? Pupils observe different enclosures and their occupants in order to decide what the best living conditions are for this primate.
Duration: 2 hours
DINNER’S READY!
Key Stage 1
Pupils identify the main types of diet by examining skulls. They then think about the food they would give to the zoo animals.
