See what it’s like behind the scenes at the manatee pool accompanied by a keeper-diver.
Tinus, a resident of the Parc Zoologique de Paris, is a 600 kg male manatee who mainly feeds on plants… up to 50 kg a day!
Accompanied by park keepers, get exclusive behind-the-scenes access in the Great Glasshouse! Join in with preparing garlands of plants for the manatees and be there at their feeding time on the beach overlooking the large pool!
The manatees share their pool with fish from the Amazon: learn about the pacus, arapaimas and tiger catfish amongst the giant fish who come up to the surface to breathe and the herbivore piranhas.
This activity is only in French.
Minimum age : 6
All year round, on Wednesdays and Saturdays
